FAQ’s

1. What are your fees?

Our fees consist of two prices – bin rental price + dump fee. Our bin rental prices depend on the size of the bin and our dumping fee is a flat fee of $90 per tone and $55 per ton for clean fill (Soil, Dirt, Concrete, Asphalt, Sod).

3. How high can I fill the bin?

No higher than the top edge of the bin. Over filling the bin is unsafe to transport. The driver will remove extra garbage and $50 charge will apply.

4. When do you pick up?

To arrange a pick up you’ll have to call us or email us.

5. How long do I have a bin for?

Our rental term is up to 7 days.

6. What if I need a bin for longer than 7 days?

That’s not a problem. We charge $20 per extra day or give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

7. What is cleanfill?

Dirt, Soil, Sod, Gravel. These materials must be kept separate. So, in order not to mix them you would need to rent a separate bin for each type of cleanfill material.

9. What type of garbage/materials I can’t in the bin?

Hazardous materials such as chemicals, gasoline, oils, solvents, car batteries, asbestos, propane tanks, paint or paint cans, household waste, such as diapers and chicken bones or any type of toxic or biological waste. It is your responsibility to monitor content of the bin.

 10. How can I prevent neighbors from throwing garbage in the bin? Do you supply lids?

Quick Bins does not supply lids. What goes in to the bin is clients responsibility. We suggest that you purchase an inexpensive tarp at Home Depot or Canadian Tire.

11. What are the methods of payment?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery, Cash

12. How do we determine the weight?

Once the bin is filled, you will call us to pick up the bin. The driver will take the waste to a dump station where the total weight of the bin will be determined. The truck with the bin will drive on to the special scale.  The gross weight of the truck with a bin and garbage is determined. The weight of the garbage determined by deducting weight of the truck with an empty bin from the gross weight. The dump station provides a print out from the scale with the weight of the contents in the bin.

 13. Do I need any Permits?

You will need a permit if the bin has to be placed on the street. You will have to contact your municipality. You don’t need a permit if the bi is placed in the driveway.
